COMCAVE AG® reaches top placement again in the MMB E-Learning-Business Ranking 2011

In this year’s MMB E-Learning-Business Ranking, COMCAVE AG® has reached first place in the categories “Offers” and “Hardware” and is among the 25 companies with the highest E-Learning turnover in Germany.

The sub-rankings of the MMB E-Learning-Business Ranking exemplify the porfolio of offers of the participating companies.

The top placements in the sub-rankings “Offering of digital learning content and E-Learning courses” and “Sales of hardware for E-Learning and knowledge management” mirror the successful implementation of GECS®.
With GECS®, COMCAVE combines various E-Learning technologies to a high-tech method blend to implement practice-oriented training in an environment which is completely telelearning. This kind of training used to be offered only in time- and cost-intensive phases where physical attendance was necessary. While trainers, at set training times, transmit knowledge via audio-and video-conferencing in the virtual classrooms in real time, LMS (Learning Management System) and the eLab are available for independent, non-teacher-centred learning at all times.

COMCAVE AG® is not just leading in the sub-rankings “Offers” and “Hardware”; the company is also at the top in other sub-rankings, such as ”Adjustment”, “Consulting” and “Tools”, so that in the overall ranking for the MMB E-Learning-Business Ranking, a placement among the Top 5 for the second time in a row – this year, fourth place – was reached.

“We are pleased about the repeated placement,” said COMCAVE AG® CEO, Maximilian Jaber, after the release of the ranking results. “The success documents a solid and innovative company philosophy.”

Innovations in IT have been gaining an increased importance in the further education sector. Learners are taking unconventional ways which are enabling them to be professionally instructed independent of their being physically present. Another criterion for the choice of E-Learning as instructional method is the time factor, since learning contents, depending on the E-Learning method, are retrievable at any time.

“Only companies, which have recognised the signs of time and which are constantly positioning themselves anew, will be successful”, says Maximilian Jaber.
According to the CEO, COMCAVE employees play a huge part in the top ranking placement. “A company is the portfolio of its human, technical, financial, and knowledge-based resources and its ability to deploy these resources,” he explains.

It is the degree of efficiency and effectiveness in companies which determines the ability of a firm to deploy these skills efficiently and effectively. “Therefore, I regard COMCAVE employees as the main factor in this context. They are the true winners of this top placement,” he continues.

The MMB-Institute for Media- and Competence Research has been conducting the MMB E-Learning-Business Ranking since 2008. The placements are determined by the amount of E-Learning turnover in Germany for the previous year.
